The Story of Nuova Olpa: A Journey of Passion, Innovation and Resilience
It all started in 2004, when a crucial event threatened to put an end to our business. Our company, founded on years of training and passion, had decided to close its doors. But deep faith in what we had built and the desire to continue making a difference pushed us to get involved with enthusiasm, new ideas, skills and a lot of good will.
Our commitment was recognized in 2011, when we received a prestigious award from the European Community during the SME Week, an award that rewarded us for our efforts and growth over these years.
Dario and the Birth of Nuova Olpa
Our story is also that of Dario, who started as an employee at Nuova Olpa, a company specialized in the production of small and medium series of mechanical equipment since 1975. When in 2004 it was decided to close, Dario, convinced of the potential of the company, decided to buy it and lead it towards new horizons, moving from the role of employee to that of entrepreneur.
With great determination, he invested in cutting-edge technologies and innovative machinery, making production more efficient, flexible and ready to respond to market challenges. In 2007, we signed an important agreement with the CERN department, starting to produce prototypes for the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva. A milestone that marked our commitment to excellence and innovation.
Despite the difficulties of the 2009 economic crisis, which almost halved demand, Nuova Olpa was able to resist and start again stronger than before. Today, with rosier prospects, our goal is to expand markets and increase exports.
A New Chapter in 2021
In 2021, we further accelerated our growth by expanding our premises with a new 120mq operational unit, adjacent to the current one. This expansion allows us to increase productivity and offer an even better service to our customers.
International Awards and Recognitions
In 2011, we had the honour of participating in the European SME Week at the European Parliament, where our journey, our evolution and our entrepreneurial spirit were recognised and rewarded as an example of success.

Nuova Olpa has been operating in the mechanical sector for over 40 years. In 2004, the company was taken over and since then it has continued to grow and renew itself thanks to cutting-edge technological investments.
We specialize in the production of small and medium series of mechanical equipment and milling of all types of parts. We use tools such as Rhinoceros 3D for CAD and SprutCAM and Fusion 360 for CAM, working with latest-generation CNC machines.
Our parts are used in different sectors, such as the construction of winemaking machinery, glass cutting machines, measurement and metrology instruments, crane equipment and bookbinding machinery.
We are a modern and cutting-edge company, managed by partners who personally take care of production and quality control, to guarantee products that comply with the specifications requested by our customers.
We have a large fleet of machines, both CNC and traditional, which allows us to perform any type of processing on any material, always offering the best and maximum satisfaction to our customers.
